Sons of the Pioneers

Watch the historic celebration performance in front of a live audience at Earnest Tubb's Texas Troubadour Theater in Nashville, Tennessee. With an introduction by Rob Johnson, Roy Rogers' grandson, the Pioneers gave s superb performance and were joined on several tunes by legendary Charlie McCoy and his harmonica. Connie Smith also joined the Pioneers for Vaya Con Dios. Not only do the Pioneers sing their classics but they showcase fiddle duets and dixieland clarinet and Texas Swing in some memorable instrumentals. It's a whole night of entertainment. Bonus footage includes special memories recorded in individual interviews of Ranger Doug, 40-year member Luther Nallie, 30-year member Gary LeMaster, Casey and Liz Anderson as well as others.
